Red Sunset

This picture was taken during a red sunset two weeks ago. When I was a kid, I read that red sunsets usually mean that there are thunderstorms lurking around. It wasn’t even raining then, but the past few days brought a lot of thunderstorms here in Cavite.


Speaking of thunderstorms—last night was pretty scary. The rain was furious and the thunderstorm even more so! They say that you can tell how far a thunderstorm is when you count off the seconds after you see the flash of lightning and end after you hear the thunder. Then, divide it by five (or is it three?) to know how many kilometers it is from you. Well, last night (at one in the morning), the lightning and the thunder was almost instantaneous. This means that the thunderstorm was just probably above our heads! I am not shitting you when I say that the walls vibrated a little after each crack of sound.

 

I don’t know what came first, sleep or the end of the storm, but there’s nothing Lay’s Salt and Vinegar cannot solve in my life.

i thought red sunsets means there’s a a war LOL!

i am afraid of thunderstorms, the same way i’m afraid of coffins. LOL!
