Enumerating
January 31, 2008I can’t write anything worth the effort lately. It’s probably the flu compounded by the anxiety of an upcoming test in Statistics this Saturday (ugh, what can be more depressing than the words "flu", "Statistics", and "Saturday" in a sentence?). I’m also distracted as of late. This is me prepping myself up for the next two months of solid school work—something bad has to happen first before I get myself to focus. In short: I’m fucked up.
Let me enumerate the things that are wrong with my life lately. Before that, I must warn you that this short enumeration will show you how shallow and stupid I am. Well, I warned you.
1. I just bought a new eyeshadow pan from 4u2. It’s a perfect pearly white color, which means that it doesn’t make me look like a drag queen stalking the ancient halls of UP. It’s perfect for this pro palette I bought last month, which I couldn’t use since the colors are too crazy for school (hello, super black, parrot green, lime green, red, bronze, super purple, super blue, all very pigmented = useless). Anyway, the next day (yesterday) the new eyeshadow broke into sorry pieces upon impact with an unsuspecting floor. Jeez. Klutz. Weep.
2. I need a new infusion of clothes. I’ve been wearing the same thing for the last two months. When I say infusion, I mean infusion. Lots of it.
3. I haven’t written anything for the website I’m supposed to write for. What’s my excuse? Lots of school stuff to do plus I can’t write anything worth the bother yaddah yaddah. I’ll have my mojo back after the Stat exam, promise.
4. Cosplay next week for the Department of Social Sciences week yay! I promised three people that I’d do their make-up. The thing is, I dunno what or who to appear as. The theme is Filipiniana, Sci-Fi, Anime (I think) and UP outfits throughout the ages. I spend a lot of time worrying about what to wear every morning, pano pa kaya to? Suggestions anyone? Something simple but striking.
5. Have I mentioned I’m sick? I rarely get sick, so this is a special occasion. Freakin’ sinuses I swear to god. That’s not even a coherent sentence.
6. I finished Final Fantasy IX in 48 hours. I got Zidane’s ultimate weapon too, but that’s with the undying help of Gamefaqs. And YES, the Chocobo Hot and Cold mini-game was the only time I needed the walkthrough for since I was kinda hurrying the last part already. I don’t have time to Chocobo my way all over Gaia, much as I would love to. Since I beat the game, I have no more games to play! Suggestions! Suggestions! What are nice PSP RPG games?
7. My new glasses make my face look fatter! Disaster! Since my mom spent a lot of money on them, I can’t pretend to lose them. Or can I? Hrm…
To be fair though, let me tell you the things that are right in my life right now:
1. I’m back to my natural curly hair. And I love it!
2. Marco.

Curly hair? Round glasses? Could work. Only the first thing I noticed in the photo is the mole above your lip.
But yeah, Saturday flu-infected statistics are bad.
And I almost said something about your clothing needs - might work around your round glasses. Although I liked the old ones better, to be honest.
