Sickies
May 14, 2007Okay, I really intended to update this shit since Saturday because me and Marco, the Site Guy went to Divisoria that day. We have some pictures from his phone cam and I intend to take pictures of the clothes I bought, until I realized just about now that the USB cable for my camera is somewhere in Ortigas. So the Divi Day post will be up tomorrow, hopefully.
So. I've been pisshit sick since Saturday afternoon. It was worse yesterday when I was racked by chills and my temperature shot up. I alternated in bed and in front of the computer (when I feel a little better) the whole of yesterday. Oh, and my throat feels like hell too. Now you have to know that I rarely ever get sick; the last time I was was last January and it was with influenza. If this keeps up, my mom is bringing me to the doctor later.
But I don't want to miss work tomorrow! Anyway. I think all the commuting killed my resistance to viruses and what-not and then I topped it off with a shopping spree in Divisoria. The place where I usually shop is airconditioned, and then outside the heat was searing and stiffling. Then the bus is airconditioned. You get the drift. I abused my body. This is all my fucking fault.
Look, even this post is so badly written. I'm listening to Aimee Mann's Wise Up and wondering when this is gonna stop. She says when I wise up. Right, whatever. It's 5-something am and I should be resting and shit and not up in the first place. Wise up, my ass.

your writing is not that bad. pagaling ka! drink lots of water.
Hrm. I don’t call that “rarely” get sick, to be honest. But not bad either.
Weirdly for me (and members of our family) we get well when we sit in front of the PC.
As for the post’s style… seems a bit rushed, but still Lizette all the same. Remember… witty, dry, but never funny. And I chuckled a bit.
Gah, I feel sooo uncomfortable. I wonder when we’d update the Mind Commute again, if you don’t mind me asking? :p
